Kerla Mejia is best described as amiable, enthusiastic, and a results driven individual. She began her Real Estate career in early 2018 where she was able to help clients learn about the process of buying a home. This happens to be one of her favorite aspects of the business. “I like the feeling of knowing I helped someone through one of the most important and emotional transactions of their lives!” Kerla is also a very easy-going individual, always ready to take on a challenge.
After attending Wilkes University where she pursued a Political Science degree with a minor in Spanish, she studied real estate at Vintage Real Estate Academy. Her past work experiences as a bank teller, operations coordinator, and in human resources have taught her the skills and traits she needs to excel in the real estate industry. Kerla’s effective communication skills and her ability to focus are benefits she brings to her clients.
When asked if she remembers her first sale, she stated, “my first sale was the purchase of my home. I was lucky enough to have my father represent me and walk me through the whole process!”
Kerla lives in the Hazleton area with her partner, Josh and children, Kenny and Kaleb. Her father, Carlos Mejia, is one of the top real estate agents associated with Lewith & Freeman. Some of Kerla’s hobbies include: baking, reading, gardening, listing to music, and dancing.
She can be found helping buyers and sellers alike in the Hazleton Area, including Drums, Hazle township, Sugarloaf, Conyngham and beyond at Lewith & Freeman’s Hazle Township office and can be reached at 570-501-7582 or firstname.lastname@example.org
