Tunkhannock is a borough in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, 31 miles Northwest of Wilkes-Barre. In the past, lumbering was carried on extensively. The name is an Indian word meaning bend in the river. Guests can take a scenic drive along historic Route 6, which spans over 440 miles across Wyoming County and encompasses some of Pennsylvania’s most breathtaking backdrops.
